After a reorganization, the Pasadena Symphony and Pops asked Studiofluid to help rethink their brand. Our goal was to unite the two independent organizations and showcase them as a premier musical experience in Southern California.

Studiofluid developed an identity system with typography, color and patterns to create a flexible look that unites. In doing so, we injected life and energy and avoided the stuffiness traditionally associated with symphonies, to attract a younger audience. We designed a corporate identity system and extended it to the website, print collateral and signage. This successful rebrand of the individual organizations took advantage of each brand’s past loyalty, resulting in a significant increase in donors, audience and volunteers to the organization.

Huge thanks to Mikio Osaki and the talented students of Art Center College of Design for the contribution of the ear artwork and partnership in promoting the Pasadena Symphony and Pops.
