Aside from being visually bland, the previous PowerBar Store suffered from usability problems. Studiofluid designed an e-commerce experience that improves navigation, increases opt-ins and elevates the brand.
Home Page:
The home page has been updated to bring the products forward and increase opt-ins. Since PowerBar products are available from other online vendors, emphasis is now placed on PowerBar Store’s unique selling proposition: Free Samples, Product Suggestions, Personalized Advice, and access to “Hard-to-Find” Products.
Category Landing Page:
The previous category landing page lacked branding or distinction among sub-brands, so we introduced graphical headers that create excitement and help clarify what makes each product line unique. Customer opt-ins are improved through a compelling top banner and energized email signup.
Product Detail Page:
The product detail page is designed to make the visitor hungry. An enlarged product shot reveals the actual bar, not just the packaging completing the effect. The button hierarchy is clarified, leading the customer to the most important “Add to Cart” button, while removing distractions. Updated typesetting makes the product details more more scannable and understandable.
